I really like Pelosi…
Makes me feel good to finally have some folks in Washington starting to stand up to Bush & Co.
Schlockfest at the conservative bookclub
I came across this little firebomb of book description. I won’t say what book or what author simply because I don’t want to send him any traffic. But check it out:
…lays out incontrovertible evidence for the fact that catastrophic man-made global warming is just more Chicken-Little hysteria, not actual science. He explains why, although Al Gore and his cronies among the media elites and UN globalists endlessly bleat that “global warming” is an unprecedented global crisis, they really think of it as a dream come true.
Global warming is the ideal scare campaign for those who are doing all they can to secure strict control over society, business, and the minutest details of individual life. For, as Horner explains, if global warming really were as bad as the Leftist doomsayers insist it is, then no policy imaginable could “solve” it. According to the logic of the greens’ own numbers, no matter how much we sacrifice there would still be more to do. That makes global warming the bottomless well of excuses for the relentless growth of Big Government.
Real nice guys…
Right Wing Jamboree
Check out the “Family Life Conference“, It’s a pro-family get together to discuss Republican views about family related issues in South Carolina. It’s just kind of funny, I think they embody everything there is to know about what the right thinks are moral issues facing South Carolina’s families, just check out their list of speakers and topics:
- Angela Lanfranchi, MD - Abortion and Breast Cancer: Links and Risk Factors
- Phil Lenahan - Financial Independence: Seven Steps to Becoming Financially Free
- Edward Peitler, PhD - Pornography and Sexual Addiction: A Christian Way to Find Healing
- David Hess, MD - Stem Cell Controversy: Differences between Embryonic and Adult Stem Cells
Need I say more?
Republicans hate to recycle…
I seriously do not understand why those on the right constantly denounce man’s effect on the environment. Seriously, why is conservation and working to lower our CO2 emissions a bad thing? How can protecting our planet and preserving it for our children be so wrong? These right wing-nuts keep pushing this insane agenda to debunk the idea that humans are destroying the planet. Like this guy:
“The belief that man has a direct impact on global climate is most definitely a hoax.” - Joshua Gross from his blog “the body politic”
Whenever I ask these questions of people like this all I get in return is “Al Gore this Al Gore that…” then normally they’ll admit that preserving the environment is a good thing but then they’ll say something like but what the left says about it isn’t true, look here see, there’s a thousand scientists that don’t think humans are effecting the environment. Usually those “thousand” scientists turn out to be some lame list of random names on some random website that after 3-4 minutes of inspection falls apart as not being a true list of scientists.
Okay so you guys hate Al Gore, so you hate the left, get over it and start supporting conservation, start working to heal our planet, please I’m begging you…
